It starts by defining the youth policy and the youth age group in Lebanon; then it presents the background of the youth policy, the partners involved, and the work methodology. It also sheds light on the interim achievement in the youth policy process, and the characteristics of Lebanon’s youth policy experience, as well as the obstacles that has faced the work process, and the opportunities that have been ahead. The case study also presents the path for having a youth policy and the steps needed to ensure it is a participatory and effective one. It concludes by specifying where we stand now in this process, and highlights the upcoming steps in this cumulative and long process.
