Follow-Up to the Rio+20 Outcome Document Responsibilities of the UN System

This document details the responsibilities of the UN system in connection to the Rio+20 outcome document. The United Nations Secretary-General, along with United Nations system organizations, developed a framework for the follow up to Rio+20 by the United Nations. The framework focuses on the mandates of Rio+20 specifically directed at the United Nations system. This implementation framework serves as an accountability framework as well as a working tool to promote and monitor progress.
